Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre

Before embarking on his dentistry journey, Dr. Chris Swayze pursued an Honors degree in Physiology from the University of Western Ontario, followed by an MBA from Queen's University. He earned his dental degree from the same university in 1993 and further refined his skills through a General Practice Residency at Victoria Hospital and University Hospital in London, Ontario. After a fulfilling period in private practice in Kingston, Ontario, he relocated to Toronto in 2001 alongside his wife, a budding medical professional.

With a rich background in academia, Dr. Swayze has imparted knowledge at the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto's Dentistry faculties. He has also held a notable position as the Assistant Clinical Director at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry. A sought-after voice in the field, he's delivered lectures at various dental forums, including the prominent Ontario Dental Association conference. Always looking to give back, Dr. Swayze has offered his expertise to underserved communities in the North, as well as in nations like Guatemala and Belize, and to homeless youth.

Currently, Dr. Swayze adeptly juggles roles at the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario as the Assistant to the Registrar and serves the Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre. Residing in the Danforth area, he, his wife, and their two children take immense pride in being active community members.
