Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre

Dr. Andrew Syriopoulos, the founder of Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre, earned his Bachelor's degree and his dental degree from the University of Toronto.

Following his graduation, he was an associate dentist in Kitchener and established his private practice on the Danforth, the area where he grew up.


He stays at the forefront of dental innovation, consistently augmenting his expertise having undertaken in-depth training in surgical and prosthodontic implant procedures, continued training in cosmetic, restorative and prosthetic training.


He is on the Board of his Resident's association and has served three terms on the Greek Town executive, with one as Vice-Chair. He has served as President of the Asclepius Dental Society, on the Greek professional's Fundraising Gala and on the executive of the University of Toronto Dental Alumni Association.


Apart from his dedication to fulfilling his commitment as the clinical director of DNDC, Dr. Syriopoulos served as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto and has held roles on the Ontario Dental Association in the Membership Services and Education Core Committees. He proudly served for six years on the ODA Board of Directors. He has served as president of the Toronto East Dental Society and as President of the Asclepius Dental Society. He is presently chair of the Continuing Education Committee of the Toronto East Dental Society.


Having grown up on the Danforth, Dr. Syriopoulos really enjoys the neighbourhood. His hobbies include hiking, reading and travelling.
